Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Heat olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over high heat until shimmering. Arrange Brussels sprouts cut-side down in the skillet. Cook until cut sides are deeply browned, about 5 minutes.

03

Step

Stir in the grapes and garlic. Top with rosemary sprigs. (1 minute)

04

Step

Roast in the preheated oven until the sprouts are tender and the grapes have softened and begun to burst, about 15 minutes.

05

Step

Season generously with salt and black pepper. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sprouts just before serving. Remove rosemary sprigs if desired. Garnish with additional cracked black pepper. (2 minutes)

For a deeper caramelization, you can broil the Brussels sprouts for the last 2 minutes of roasting, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
Adding a splash of balsamic vinegar after roasting will amplify the sweetness and add a tangy dimension.
If you don't have an oven-safe skillet, you can transfer the Brussels sprouts and grapes to a baking sheet after browning them in a regular skillet.
