Follow The Directions

01

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain, reserving about a 1/2 cup of the pasta water. (8-10 minutes)

02

Step

Return the cooked pasta to the pot. Add the drained tuna, condensed cream of celery soup, frozen green peas, chopped red bell pepper, diced onion, salt, and pepper to the pot. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Gently simmer the stew over medium-low heat until everything is heated through and the flavors have melded together, about 5-7 minutes. If the stew becomes too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water or milk to reach your desired consistency. (5-7 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of dried thyme or a dash of hot sauce to the stew.
Feel free to substitute other vegetables such as carrots, corn, or mushrooms to customize the stew to your liking.
If you don't have cream of celery soup on hand, cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup will work as substitutes.

I've been making a similar recipe for years, but the tip about sauteing the veggies first is brilliant!
