Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, seasoning blend, and pepper until well combined. Set aside. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, gently combine the lettuce, chicken, chow mein noodles, almonds, sesame seeds, green onions, and poppy seeds. Toss gently to ensure even distribution without crushing the lettuce or noodles. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Just before serving, drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss lightly to coat. Serve immediately to maintain the crispness of the lettuce and noodles. (2 minutes)

For a healthier twist, substitute olive oil for vegetable oil and use a sugar substitute like stevia or honey.
To add more flavor and color, consider adding mandarin orange segments or dried cranberries.
Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
The dressing can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Be sure to whisk it again before using.
