For chewier bars, slightly underbake them. For crispier bars, bake for the full 25 minutes. Feel free to substitute other nuts or dried fruits according to your preference. Chopped walnuts, pecans, or dried cranberries would be excellent additions. Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for longer storage.
