Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper until well combined. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Squeeze lime juice over the ribs. Generously rub the seasoning mixture on both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Place the ribs in a large roasting pan (you may need to cut the rack in half to fit). Distribute the pineapple chunks evenly over the top of the ribs. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Pour the reserved pineapple juice and beer into the roasting pan around the ribs. (1 minute)

06

Step

Cover the pan tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil, ensuring a good seal to trap the moisture. (2 minutes)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the ribs are incredibly tender and the meat is easily pulled away from the bones, approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. (195-210 minutes)

08

Step

Let the ribs rest for 15 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in even more flavorful and tender ribs. (15 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce to the spice rub.
Removing the membrane from the back of the ribs will result in a more tender final product.
If you prefer a smokier flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika to the spice rub.
Don't discard the leftover pineapple juice! It can be used in smoothies, cocktails, or as a marinade for other meats.
Feel free to experiment with different types of beer. A dark stout or porter will add a rich, malty flavor to the ribs.
