Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, white wine, hot pepper sauce, maraschino cherry juice, brown sugar, honey, lime juice, lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the marinade. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Add the chicken, mushrooms, bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. (1 hour + 5 minutes)

03

Step

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate to prevent sticking. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Thread the marinated ingredients onto the soaked wooden skewers. Alternate between pieces of chicken and vegetables, finishing each skewer with a pineapple chunk and a maraschino cherry. (20 minutes)

05

Step

Place the kabobs on the preheated grill and cook until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, approximately 10 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. (10 minutes)

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot pepper sauce or omit the cayenne pepper.
If you're short on time, marinate the chicken for as little as 30 minutes, but for the best flavor, marinating overnight is recommended.
Feel free to substitute other vegetables, such as zucchini, yellow squash, or even jalapeños for an extra kick.
Serve these kabobs with a side of rice or quinoa for a complete and satisfying meal.
