Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic oil, ginger powder, sesame seeds, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Arrange the chicken thighs in the prepared baking dish, then generously pour the maple-ginger sauce over the top, ensuring each thigh is thoroughly coated. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove the foil, flip the thighs, and continue baking, uncovered, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 200 degrees F (93 degrees C), approximately 15 minutes. (55 minutes)

05

Step

Flip the thighs once more and sprinkle evenly with chopped fresh parsley. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider marinating the chicken thighs in the maple-ginger mixture for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight, in the refrigerator.
Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to suit your preference for spice. A pinch more or less can make a significant difference.
Serve these glazed chicken thighs with a side of steamed rice or quinoa and a vibrant green vegetable like broccoli or asparagus for a complete and balanced meal.
Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 200 degrees F (93 degrees C) to ensure it is fully cooked.
