Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook kohlrabi at a boil until completely tender, 5 to 7 minutes; drain.

For a richer flavor, try using olive oil instead of canola oil.
If you don't have a bread machine, this recipe can be adapted for baking in a conventional oven. After the first rise, shape the dough and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
