Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly coat a muffin tin with cooking spray. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, forming a small nest. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped shrimp, diced water chestnuts, mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of the chopped green onions, sesame oil, fresh ginger, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined. (7 minutes)

03

Step

Spoon the shrimp mixture evenly into the prepared wonton wrappers, filling each cup generously. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the wonton edges are a rich, dark brown and the filling is heated through, approximately 18 minutes. (18 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the baked wontons from the muffin tin and transfer them to a serving platter. Garnish with the remaining chopped green onions for a fresh, vibrant finish. Serve immediately and enjoy! (2 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a tiny pinch of red pepper flakes to the shrimp mixture for a subtle kick.
Wonton wrappers can dry out quickly, so keep them covered with a damp cloth until you're ready to use them.
These are best served immediately while the wontons are still crisp. However, they can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
