Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Almond Bark: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the almond bark in 15-second intervals, stirring well in between each interval to prevent burning. Continue until completely smooth. (Approximately 2-3 minutes)

02

Step

Combine the Filling: In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and softened cream cheese until a uniform mixture forms. (Approximately 5 minutes)

03

Step

Shape the Bites: Roll the cookie and cream cheese mixture into approximately 25 bite-sized balls. For easy handling during dipping, insert a toothpick into each ball. (Approximately 10 minutes)

04

Step

Coat with Almond Bark: Dip each ball into the melted almond bark, ensuring it's fully coated. Lift and let any excess almond bark drip off before placing on wax paper. (Approximately 15 minutes)

05

Step

Harden and Chill: Allow the coated bites to harden completely on wax paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving. (Approximately 30 minutes)

For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate almond bark.
Ensure the cream cheese is properly softened for a smoother mixture.
If the almond bark becomes too thick while dipping, reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
Get creative with toppings! Sprinkle the coated bites with crushed Oreos, sea salt, or colorful sprinkles before the almond bark sets.

The almond bark was a little too sweet for my taste, so next time I might try using semi-sweet chocolate instead.

I found that chilling the cookie mixture before rolling made it much easier to handle. Thanks for the tip!
