Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a shallow bowl, whisk together milk and eggs until well combined. (2 minutes)

03

Step

In a separate shallow bowl, combine baking mix, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix thoroughly. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Dredge each chicken tender in the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Then, press the tender into the Parmesan mixture, ensuring it's fully coated on all sides. Place the coated tender onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tenders. (15 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. (25 minutes)

For extra crispy tenders, place the baking sheet under the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Experiment with different cheeses! Asiago, Romano, or a blend of Italian cheeses would also work beautifully.
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Parmesan mixture for a touch of heat.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as honey mustard, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, or a homemade aioli.

I added a little bit of Italian seasoning to the Parmesan mixture, and it gave them a really nice flavor.

Great recipe! I found that 22 minutes was perfect in my oven. They were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

I was surprised at how crispy these turned out. I used panko breadcrumbs instead of baking mix, and they were amazing!

Next time, I think I'll double the recipe because they disappeared so quickly!

These are much better than store-bought tenders and healthier too! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Simple and delicious. I didn't have hot paprika, so I used regular paprika, and they still tasted great.

I tried these in my air fryer, and they were ready in just 15 minutes!
