Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain well. (15 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, artichoke hearts, shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Mix thoroughly. (5 minutes)

04

Step

In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, milk, 1 tablespoon of dried basil, and garlic powder together until smooth and creamy. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Mix 2/3 of the cream cheese mixture with the chicken mixture. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Arrange a single layer of lasagna noodles over the cream cheese mixture. Top with 1/3 of the chicken mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese slices. Repeat this layering process two more times: noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella slices. (15 minutes)

07

Step

Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and dried basil evenly over the top layer. (2 minutes)

08

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and bubbly, about 25 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. (35 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
Fresh basil can be used in place of dried basil, use double the amount.
Ensure the lasagna noodles are cooked al dente to prevent a mushy final product.
Allowing the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes after baking helps the layers set and makes slicing easier.
