Loosely cover the brisket with foil. Bake 3 hours in the preheated oven, or to an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). (3 hours)

For an even deeper flavor, sear the brisket on all sides in a hot skillet before placing it in the baking dish. This will create a delicious crust and enhance the overall taste of the dish.
If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the tomato sauce mixture.
Allow the brisket to rest for at least 15 minutes after baking before slicing against the grain. This will help the juices redistribute and result in a more tender and flavorful brisket.
