For a richer flavor, use browned butter to grease the pan. Experiment with different fillings! Jam, Nutella, or even a dollop of whipped cream would be delicious. If you don't have an Ebelskiver pan, you can use a regular pancake griddle, but they won't be spherical. Make sure your egg whites are at room temperature for best results when whipping. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
