For a deeper smoky flavor, use smoked paprika in place of sweet paprika. Adjust the amount of chipotle pepper to your desired level of heat. This rub is also fantastic on pork shoulder or brisket. Apply the rub generously to the meat at least 30 minutes before grilling, or preferably overnight, for maximum flavor penetration.
