Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Add the beer, onion juice, garlic juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to the melted butter. Whisk until the marinade is thoroughly combined. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Using a marinade injector, generously inject the marinade deep into the turkey, ensuring even distribution throughout the legs, back, wings, thighs, and breasts. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Place the injected turkey in a large, resealable plastic bag, removing as much air as possible. Marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully penetrate. (8-12 hours)

05

Step

When ready to fry, carefully remove the turkey from the bag and place it in the cooking basket. (2 minutes)

06

Step

To determine the necessary oil level, slowly lower the turkey (in the basket) into the deep fryer. Fill with enough peanut oil to completely submerge the turkey. Remove the turkey and set aside. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Heat the peanut oil in the deep fryer to a precise temperature of 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Use a reliable thermometer to ensure accuracy. (20-30 minutes)

08

Step

Carefully return the turkey to the cooking basket and, using the hanging device, slowly and gently lower it into the hot oil. Ensure the turkey is fully submerged to achieve even cooking. (2 minutes)

09

Step

Fry the turkey for approximately 36 minutes, or at a rate of 3 minutes per pound. Maintain a consistent oil temperature throughout the cooking process. (36 minutes)

10

Step

To ensure doneness, insert an instant-read thermometer into the thickest part of the thigh, avoiding the bone. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). (2 minutes)

11

Step

Turn off the heat source and carefully remove the turkey from the oil, allowing any excess oil to drain from the cavity. (5 minutes)

12

Step

Place the cooked turkey on a serving platter and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful bird. (20 minutes)

Ensure the turkey is completely thawed before frying for even cooking and safety.
Pat the turkey dry with paper towels before injecting the marinade to help it adhere better.
Use a high-quality peanut oil with a high smoke point for best results and to prevent the oil from breaking down during frying.
Monitor the oil temperature closely and adjust the heat as needed to maintain a consistent 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
Never leave the deep fryer unattended while in use.
Have a fire extinguisher nearby in case of emergencies.
Carve the turkey using a sharp carving knife for clean, even slices.
