For best results, use high-quality white chocolate. Cheaper brands may not melt as smoothly. To toast pecans, spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant. If you don't have a double boiler, you can use a microwave. Heat the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted. For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt to the mixture.
