Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large salad bowl, gently combine the baby spinach and arugula leaves. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Add the thinly sliced red onion and drained mandarin oranges to the greens. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Sprinkle the vibrant pomegranate seeds over the salad. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Gently toss all ingredients together with your hands, being careful not to bruise the delicate leaves or crush the pomegranate seeds. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Serve immediately and enjoy the beautiful explosion of flavors!

For an extra touch of elegance, consider adding a light vinaigrette dressing, such as a simple lemon vinaigrette or a poppy seed dressing.
To easily remove pomegranate seeds, cut the pomegranate in half and submerge it in a bowl of water. Gently separate the seeds from the membrane while underwater. The seeds will sink, and the membrane will float, making it easy to separate them.
If you don't have fresh mandarin oranges available, you can substitute with clementines or tangerines.
