Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil and spray foil with nonstick spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, combine paprika, cumin, salt, onion, garlic, pepper, and seafood seasoning; mix well. Set aside 1 teaspoon of this seasoning blend for the pasta sauce. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Rub the remaining seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets. Place the seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, approximately 20 to 25 minutes. (20-25 minutes)

05

Step

While the salmon bakes, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions, until al dente, about 12 minutes. (15 minutes)

06

Step

As the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 30 seconds. Add the panko bread crumbs and the reserved 1 teaspoon of seasoning blend. Cook, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until the panko are lightly toasted, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and transfer the toasted panko to a small bowl. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Place the baby spinach in a colander set in the sink. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it directly over the spinach. The hot pasta water will wilt the spinach instantly. (2 minutes)

08

Step

Transfer the drained pasta and wilted spinach to the skillet. Add the butter and red pepper flakes. Toss gently to coat the pasta and spinach evenly with the melted butter and seasoning. (3 minutes)

09

Step

Divide the pasta and spinach mixture evenly between two serving bowls. Top each bowl with a baked salmon fillet, a generous sprinkle of toasted panko bread crumbs, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy the symphony of flavors. (2 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the salmon just before serving.
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preferred level of spiciness.
Feel free to substitute other types of pasta, such as linguine or fettuccine, according to your preference.
