Stir in the water, rice, and beef bouillon with the beef. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid. (Approximately 20 minutes)

While the rice is cooking, heat a small skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pine nuts and toast, swirling frequently, until golden brown and fragrant. (2-4 minutes; watch carefully as they can burn quickly!)

Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork. Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the beef and rice mixture. Serve hot.

For a richer flavor, brown the ground beef in a tablespoon of olive oil.
Rinsing the rice before cooking removes excess starch and results in a fluffier texture.
Adjust the amount of cinnamon and allspice to suit your taste preferences.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for added freshness.
